Terms of Service

Last updated October 5, 2026

These terms cover your use of TraderMemo at tradermemo.com (the "service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use TraderMemo.

What TraderMemo is

TraderMemo is a trading journal. It lets you record trades, attach screenshots and notes, and see statistics about your own results. It also shows a calendar of upcoming economic events and company earnings collected from third-party sources.

Who can use TraderMemo

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. Your account is for you personally; keep your sign-in secure and don't share it. You can delete your account any time in Settings.

Your data

Your journal — trades, notes, screenshots and settings — is stored in your web browser on your device, not on our servers. You are responsible for keeping it safe. Clearing your browser's site data, using a private window, or switching browsers or devices can make it unavailable. Use Backup → Download backup regularly. We can't recover data we never had.

Not financial advice

Nothing in TraderMemo is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Statistics are calculated only from the trades you enter and are only as accurate as that information. You make your own trading decisions and are solely responsible for them. See our risk disclaimer.

Market data

The economic calendar and earnings data come from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, changed or wrong. Always confirm times and figures with an official source before you trade.

Ownership

Your journal and everything in it belong to you. TraderMemo — the app, website, design, logo and name — belongs to us. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve TraderMemo without owing you anything.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, scrape it at scale, get around payments or the free-trial limits (for example by creating several accounts), or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Paid plans

New accounts get a 14-day free trial, and no card is needed to start it. After the trial, TraderMemo costs $6.99 per month (plus any tax that applies where you live), billed monthly until you cancel. If you don't subscribe when the trial ends, your journal stays saved in your browser and you can still download a backup of it. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. You're responsible for keeping your account login secure. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

If a payment fails, our payment processor will retry it for a while; if it still can't be collected, your subscription ends and your journal becomes read-only (you can still download a backup). We may change the price of TraderMemo, but we'll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, so you can cancel first if you prefer.

Promotions

From time to time we may offer promotional codes or discounts. A promotion applies only for the period it states, after which the regular price applies. Unless we say otherwise, codes are for new customers, one per customer, can't be combined, have no cash value, and may end at any time.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, TraderMemo is not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party providers for sign-in and hosting, and Stripe for payments. Their own terms apply to their services, and we're not responsible for outages or problems on their side.

Indemnity

If you misuse TraderMemo or break these terms and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result.

Changes

We may update the service and these terms. If the terms change, we'll update this page and the date above, and for significant changes we'll also tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use TraderMemo after that means you accept the updated terms.

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use TraderMemo, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Everything can be used with a keyboard (with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link), buttons, fields and images have text labels for screen readers, text meets AA contrast, wins and losses are shown with + and − signs as well as color, pages work zoomed to 200% and on phones, and animations turn off if your device is set to reduce motion.

Some limits: charts are visual, but their key numbers also appear as text; screenshots you upload don't get automatic descriptions (you can add a note to each one); and the sign-in and payment screens come from our partners. If anything gets in your way, email support@tradermemo.com with "Accessibility" in the subject and we'll reply within 5 business days.
